\n\n\nThe Down Syndrom e Association of Los Angeles is excited to announce its 30th Annua l T21 Walk and Festival on Sunday\, November 3\, 2024\, at 11:30 AM to 2:3 0 PM at Santa Anita Park Paddock Gardens in Arcadia\, Gate 3. Joi n us in celebrating our loved ones with Down syndrome and contributing to vital programs that benefit our local Down syndrome community.\n\nThis eve nt unites the community each year to advocate for the value\, acceptance\, and inclusion of people with Down syndrome. We expect about 800 participa nts to participate in this celebration of unity and awareness. DSALA envis ions a world in which all people with Down syndrome have the opportunity t o become valued members of welcoming communities.\n\n

\n \nThe Down Syndrome Association of Los Angeles (DSALA) receives no funding from the state or federal government and is 100% donor-funded. The progra ms and events of the DSALA are free or low-cost to children and adults wit h Down syndrome and their siblings. Each year\, the DSALA must raise almos t $250\,000 to provide these vital services. The Walk is one of our larges t fundraising events and is responsible for raising 30% of the funds neede d to operate each year.
